1. Introduction

Welcome to Spanish Venues. This website, spanishvenues.com, is operated by ORTC FZCO, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates. ORTC FZCO also operates our sister site, ItalianVenues. Where these Terms of Use (“Terms”) say “we”, “our” or “us”, they mean ORTC FZCO trading as Spanish Venues.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree with any part of them, please don’t use the website.

2. What Spanish Venues Is

Spanish Venues is a curated directory of wedding venues in Spain. We showcase a hand-picked selection of venues and pass your enquiry to the venue(s) you ask about, so you can start the conversation directly.

The service is free for couples. Venues pay us a flat annual fee to be listed on the site. We don’t charge commission on bookings, and a venue’s listing fee never appears in what you pay the venue through us — because you never pay the venue through us.

What we are not: we are not a wedding planner, travel agency, or booking platform. We make introductions. Any booking, contract, deposit, or payment is agreed directly between you and the venue — we are not a party to it, we don’t handle money on either side, and we don’t manage the wedding.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our enquiry and listing services. By using the website you confirm that you are of legal age and able to enter into these Terms.

4. Enquiries

When you submit an enquiry through the website:

  • You consent to us sharing your enquiry details with the specific venue(s) you ask about — that introduction is the service.
  • You authorise those venues to contact you directly about your enquiry.
  • You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.

We facilitate the introduction but cannot guarantee that a venue will respond, that it will have availability for your dates, or that it will match your requirements. How we handle the personal information in your enquiry is described in our privacy policy.

5. Venue Listings

Venues appear on Spanish Venues under a paid annual listing arrangement agreed directly with us. Listing on the site is at our discretion — the directory is curated, and payment of a listing fee doesn’t oblige us to publish or retain a listing that no longer meets our standards. Venues are responsible for the accuracy of the information they give us and for having the rights to any material they supply.

6. Accuracy of Venue Information

We work to keep venue details — capacity, facilities, locations, and pricing indications — accurate and current, but this information comes from venues and can change without notice. We can’t guarantee its accuracy or completeness. Always confirm details, availability, and pricing directly with the venue before committing to anything.

7. Your Contract Is with the Venue

Any agreement you reach with a venue — including booking terms, deposits, payment schedules, cancellation policies, and everything that happens on the day — is between you and that venue. Spanish Venues is not a party to those agreements and accepts no liability for payments, cancellations, or disputes between you and a venue.

8. Acceptable Use

You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Use the website in a way that breaks applicable laws or regulations
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent enquiries or applications
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use bots, scrapers, or other automated systems to access the website without our permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or our systems
  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute content from the website without written permission
  • Use the website to spam, harass, or harm others
  • Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code

9. Intellectual Property

The content of this website — text, images, design, and code — belongs to Spanish Venues or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Venue photography and descriptions are supplied by the venues or used with their permission; venue-specific intellectual property remains the property of the respective venues and their photographers.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our express written permission.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The website links to third-party sites and services, including venue websites and our WhatsApp contact links, which open Meta’s WhatsApp service. Once you leave spanishvenues.com, the third party’s own terms and privacy policy apply. We aren’t responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites, and your use of them is at your own risk.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and our services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We don’t warrant that the website will meet your requirements or that defects will be corrected.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spanish Venues shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website
  • Damages arising from your interactions with venues or other third parties
  • Damages relating to wedding bookings, cancellations, or disputes with venues

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the website shall not exceed £100 (one hundred pounds sterling).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spanish Venues from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the website, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any third party’s rights, or any dispute between you and a venue.

14. Termination

We may suspend or withdraw your access to the website at any time, without notice, including where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or the website is being used fraudulently or abusively.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising from them or from your use of the website are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the website after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
