How much does a wedding in Ibiza cost?

The short answer

We hold thirteen wedding venues on Ibiza. Their published starting prices run from €4,750 to €74,000.

At the lower end, Kazamor Ibiza asks €4,750 for a full-day rental of a dry-hire garden venue on the south-west coast, and says plainly that the rate is date-dependent and moves through the year. At the upper end, Petunia Ibiza, a Beaumier Hotel asks €74,000, and that figure covers venue hire for two nights, breakfast, and a minimum spend on food and drink.

Those two numbers are not the same kind of number. One is a door key. The other is most of a wedding. The gap between them is not really a gap in quality, and treating it as one is how couples end up comparing a shortlist that was never comparable. Everything below is about reading the difference.

What is actually inside the starting price

The venues that publish what their price includes tell you a great deal about how the island works.

Nothing but the venue. Kazamor Ibiza is dry hire throughout: you choose the caterer, the suppliers, the menu and the decor. A commercial kitchen and a bar are already in place for whichever team you bring, and the ceremony happens on a raised wooden deck reached by a stone staircase. For couples who already have a caterer they trust, this is the cheapest structure on the island and the most work.

Food and drink folded in. Elixir Ibiza starts at €15,000 and includes the food and unlimited drinks, on a private beach terrace above a sandy cove on the west coast, for between 40 and 100 guests. Finca Païssa d’en Bernat starts at €15,800 for 30 guests, and that covers venue hire, exclusive use, tables and chairs, ceremony seating, a ceremony sound system, full catering and a full-day open bar. Read against Kazamor’s €4,750, the difference is not the venue. It is the wedding.

Hotel packages built around a head count. Seahorse Beach Club starts at €7,000 based on 40 people, covering a garden ceremony, a silver banquet, a two-hour open bar and an evening buffet. Vibra Yamm Sunset starts at €10,000, also for 40 guests, covering the ceremony, the banquet and a two-hour open bar. ME Ibiza prices an example package at €17,250 for the ceremony, exclusive use of the RADIO rooftop, a two-hour open bar and a full meal for 50 guests. These figures are anchored to a specific number of people, so the first question to ask is not what the package costs but what happens when your list is bigger than the one it was priced for.

A day on the water. Ibiza Boat Club starts at €8,000 for a 90ft catamaran chartered exclusively, and the price covers the captain, an experienced crew with a hostess and lifeguards, drinking water, fuel, one or two swim stops with paddleboards, all insurance and fees, and the cleaning at both ends. It takes between 25 and 450 guests, which makes it a rare thing on the island: a venue that scales from a small party to a very large one without changing address.

What the guest list does to the number

Most venues will tell you their price depends on guest numbers without showing you the curve. Finca Païssa d’en Bernat publishes the whole thing, which makes it the clearest illustration on the island of how an all-in Ibiza package behaves as the list grows:

Every one of those figures buys the same thing: fifteen acres of private hillside, exclusive use, the furniture, the ceremony seating and sound, full catering and a full-day open bar. Only the number of people changes. If you are trying to work out whether to invite the second cousins, this is the table to look at.

Catering, quoted per head

Three of our thirteen Ibiza venues publish a per-person catering rate, which is the figure that scales hardest against your guest list. Ca Na Xica quotes in-house catering from €135 per head, with drinks packages from €42. Seahorse Beach Club quotes catering from €105 per person and drinks packages from €39. Can Frare Ibiza quotes caterers from its own list from €100 per head, and charges no corkage.

No corkage is a line worth hunting for. Can Frare and Pure House Ibiza are the two Ibiza venues in our collection that list it, and on a long guest list the freedom to bring your own wine is worth more than most of the extras that get negotiated over.

Where your guests sleep, and what it obliges you to book

Nine of the thirteen venues we hold on Ibiza sleep guests on site, and the scale of that varies enormously. Seahorse Beach Club sits beside a hotel that sleeps up to 774. ME Ibiza has rooms for up to 400, and Vibra Yamm Sunset for up to 226, so at all three the entire guest list can stay where the wedding happens. Petunia Ibiza sleeps 88. Ca Na Xica sleeps 60 across 23 rooms and suites. Can Gall Ibiza sleeps 32. Can Frare, Las Cicadas and Pure House each sleep 12, which is the inner circle rather than the whole party.

On-site beds usually come with an obligation attached. Six of the thirteen set a minimum stay. Ca Na Xica requires all the suites to be booked for three nights, the night before the event, the night of the event and the night after. Can Frare asks for four nights, with the accommodation included in the hire. Las Cicadas starts at €27,000 across a minimum of three nights, with accommodation for 12 included in the price. Pure House Ibiza starts at €35,000 for 50 guests, including a four-night stay for ten with food and drink. Petunia sets the shortest minimum in the collection at two nights.

This is where a headline price stops being a headline price. A €35,000 figure that already contains four nights of accommodation and catering for part of your party is doing more work than a €35,000 figure that contains a lawn.

The thirteen venues side by side

Ceremony capacity and reception capacity are two different numbers

This catches people out more than price does. A venue that advertises a large maximum is often quoting the reception, and the ceremony space is smaller. Ca Na Xica seats up to 100 for the ceremony and runs to 240 for the reception. Vibra Yamm Sunset takes up to 40 for the ceremony and up to 120 for the reception. Finca Païssa d’en Bernat seats up to 80 at the gazebo and up to 130 for the reception. Seahorse Beach Club holds up to 150 for the ceremony and up to 250 for the reception.

Some venues have a floor as well as a ceiling. Ca Na Xica does not take a ceremony below 90 guests, and Can Frare works between 30 and 75. If you are planning something small, the constraint that bites is usually the minimum, not the maximum. At the other end, Can Gall Ibiza holds up to 250 and will take a party as small as 10, and Kazamor sets no minimum beyond the two of you.

What time the music stops

Ibiza has a reputation that its wedding venues do not universally share. Of the thirteen we hold, exactly one lists no curfew: Las Cicadas, a restored six-bedroom farmhouse estate among old olive trees, which pairs that with a high-spec sound system in the villa for a party that runs to sunrise.

Finca Païssa d’en Bernat handles the same problem architecturally. Open-air celebrations run until midnight, then everyone moves down into The Cave, an underground disco, where the party carries on until 4am. If dancing late matters to you, ask about it before you ask about menus. It is the constraint least likely to be negotiable and most likely to be discovered too late.

How far your guests have to travel

Transfers are a real budget line and Ibiza is small enough that the differences are manageable, but they are not nothing across a hundred people and several days. Pure House Ibiza is 5km from Ibiza Airport and 4km from Ibiza Town. Seahorse Beach Club and Vibra Yamm Sunset are both 8km out, and Ibiza Boat Club sails from 10km away. Kazamor is 18km, ME Ibiza and Petunia are both 20km, Can Gall is 25km, and Elixir, on the west coast, is 29km from the airport.

The venues furthest from the airport tend to be the ones people remember, which is the trade. A short transfer buys you guests who arrive on time and can get back to their hotel at two in the morning without a plan.

Marrying legally on site

Three of the thirteen are licensed for marriage at the venue itself: ME Ibiza, Finca Païssa d’en Bernat and Pure House Ibiza. Everywhere else, the legal ceremony happens separately and the venue hosts a celebrant-led ceremony followed by the reception. Plenty of couples handle the legal part at home and treat the Ibiza ceremony as the one that counts, which removes the constraint entirely and widens the shortlist.

Three routes to an Ibiza wedding

Bring your own team. Kazamor Ibiza, from €4,750 for the full day, for up to 100 guests. You are buying a site, a kitchen and a bar, and building everything else on top. The total lands wherever your caterer and suppliers put it, and you keep complete control of the menu and the look.

One venue, one price, one contract. Seahorse Beach Club from €7,000 for 40, Vibra Yamm Sunset from €10,000 for 40, Elixir Ibiza from €15,000 with unlimited drinks, Finca Païssa d’en Bernat from €15,800 for 30, ME Ibiza from €17,250 for 50. These are weddings you can budget in a single line, and the published figure is close to the real one provided your guest list matches the head count the package was written for.

Take the place over for several days. Can Gall Ibiza from €8,949 with beds for 32, Ca Na Xica from €21,720 with the whole hotel exclusive on the wedding day, Las Cicadas from €27,000 with no curfew, Pure House Ibiza from €35,000, Petunia Ibiza from €74,000 for a two-night takeover. All thirteen of our Ibiza venues offer full exclusivity, but these are the ones where the wedding is really a weekend, and the price reflects three days of a property rather than eight hours of one.
