How much does a wedding at Alcazar del Garraf cost?

Alcazar del Garraf publishes a from-price of €28,000 for a wedding, and the figure includes three nights in a mansion that sleeps 22. Add in-house catering at €110 a head and you have the two numbers that decide most of the budget. This guide reads both from the venue's own record, works them through at three guest counts, and sets the estate beside the other Barcelona-region houses that price their weddings the same way.

Published 25 October 2026 · Every figure from the venues' own published records

The short answer

Alcazar del Garraf is a renovated Catalan mansion inside the Garraf Natural Park, ten minutes from Sitges and half an hour from Barcelona. Its published starting price for a wedding is €28,000, and the venue's own note on that figure says it includes a three-night stay. That is the first thing to understand about the number: it is not a day rate. It buys the house, its grounds and the beds for a long weekend, and the wedding happens somewhere in the middle of it.

The second number is the food. The estate caters in-house, from €110 per person, and that is priced on top of the hire. Drinks come from the venue's licensed bar and are not stated in the record, so treat them as a separate line. Everything else a wedding needs, from the photographer to the flowers, sits outside both figures.

What €28,000 covers

The venue states full exclusivity: the mansion and the whole of its 40 acres are yours for the stay, with nobody else on the property. The three nights are inside the price, and the published season runs from 1 May to 15 October. The record also lists a nightly rate of €7,000 and a four-night minimum, which means the three-night package and the minimum stay do not quite line up on paper. Ask the venue directly how a fourth night is priced before you plan around a Thursday arrival.

What the hire does not include is the catering, the bar, and any beds beyond the 22 the house sleeps. The venue lists a bridal changing room, a supplier list and a hotel recommendation list among its features, which tells you the overflow question has been asked before and that Sitges, ten minutes down the hill, is the usual answer.

Worked through at three guest counts

The figures below add the published hire to the published per-head catering and stop there. They leave out drinks, the fourth night, suppliers and transport, so read them as a floor for the venue and the food, not as a wedding budget.

60 guests · hire €28,000 + catering €6,600 €34,600
100 guests · hire €28,000 + catering €11,000 €39,000
150 guests · hire €28,000 + catering €16,500 €44,500

Because the hire is fixed and the catering scales, the cost per guest falls steeply as the list grows. The same house costs far more per head for 60 guests than for 150, which is why estates priced this way suit a full guest list better than a small one. For a smaller wedding, the intimate venues guide lists houses whose pricing starts lower.

Who sleeps on site

The mansion has 11 ensuite bedrooms sleeping 22 guests, each room with its own air conditioning and heating. The master suite runs to 120 square metres with a private balcony and both indoor and outdoor baths. For a 150-guest wedding that means the couple, immediate family and the wedding party stay in the house, and the rest of the list books in Sitges or Sant Pere de Ribes, five minutes away. For a wedding of 22 or fewer, everyone sleeps on the estate and the three nights become the whole celebration rather than a base for one evening.

Guests who stay are inside a natural park, with tropical gardens, two swimming pools and a barbecue area to fill the days either side of the wedding. The venue describes itself as child friendly, which matters for a stay of this length.

The ceremony and the licence

Two ceremony settings are listed: the terrace, with its view over the grounds and the park, and the planted gardens beside the pools. The house is licensed for marriage, which in Spain is rarer than it sounds. Bear in mind that the licence covers the venue, not the couple: most non-resident foreign couples cannot hold the legally binding civil ceremony in Spain and choose a symbolic one here instead, with the paperwork done at home. Our guide to getting married in Spain as a foreign couple explains the routes.

Getting there

The nearest airport by straight line is Barcelona (BCN), about 24 km away. The venue puts Barcelona at 30 minutes by road, Sitges at ten and Sant Pere de Ribes at five. For a guest list arriving from several countries, that is as simple as a Spanish estate wedding gets: one major airport, one motorway, and a town with hotels, restaurants and a beach a short taxi from the gate.

Other Barcelona-region estates priced with the nights in

Alcazar del Garraf is not the only house near Barcelona whose published price carries a stay. The four below do the same, at lower starting figures, and each takes a different view of how many people the nights are for.

  • Sitges · Barcelona

    Villa Almanita

    up to 150 guests · sleeps 52 · 3-night minimum · from €18,000 · catering €160 a head

  • Sant Pere de Ribes · Barcelona

    Masia Victoria

    up to 70 guests · sleeps 28 · 3-night minimum · from €14,550 · catering €110 a head

  • Costa Brava · Barcelona

    Mas Torroella

    up to 200 guests · sleeps 30 · 3-night minimum · from €14,500

  • Santa Margarida i els Monjos · Barcelona

    El Serral Hotel

    up to 250 guests · sleeps 28 · 2-night minimum · from €12,500 · catering €140 a head

Villa Catalina publishes €18,000 with three nights for 52 guests, so more than twice the beds for a lower hire, with catering at €160 a head. Masia Victoria is €14,550 with three nights, sleeps 28 and caters at €110 a head, the same per-head figure as Alcazar, but it tops out at 70 guests. Mas Torroella is €14,500 with three nights for 30 and takes 200. El Serral Hotel is €12,500 with two nights for 28, takes 250 and caters from €140. None of them is inside a natural park with two pools and 40 acres to itself, which is what the extra money at Alcazar buys.

The Barcelona wedding cost guide reads every priced venue in the region the same way, and venues by budget puts the whole collection in bands. For a line-by-line total at your own guest count, the budget calculator adds drinks and suppliers to figures like these.

Is it the right venue for you?

Choose Alcazar del Garraf if you want a whole estate to yourselves for three nights, a guest list of up to 150, and a location that keeps the logistics short. The price rewards a full list and a long weekend, and penalises a small, one-day wedding. If your list is nearer 50 and you still want the nights, Villa Catalina and Masia Victoria put more of the budget into beds. If you want a day hire with no stay attached, the Barcelona guide covers the masías that price that way. Either way, the full collection shows each venue's figures side by side, and an enquiry through us costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

Questions couples ask us

How much does a wedding at Alcazar del Garraf cost?

The venue publishes a from-price of €28,000 for the 2027 to 2028 season, and that figure includes a three-night stay at the mansion. In-house catering is priced separately at €110 a head, so a wedding for 100 guests starts from the hire plus the food, before drinks and suppliers.

Is accommodation included in the price?

Yes. The published €28,000 includes three nights, and the house sleeps 22 guests in 11 ensuite bedrooms. The venue also states a four-night minimum stay and a nightly rate of €7,000, so ask how the fourth night is charged when you enquire.

How many guests can Alcazar del Garraf take?

Up to 150 for both the ceremony and the reception, from a minimum of two. The mansion is licensed for marriage, though most foreign couples hold a symbolic ceremony in Spain and the legal one at home.

When is the venue available for weddings?

The venue states that its season runs from 1 May to 15 October. Inside that window, the three nights in the price make a Thursday-to-Sunday or Friday-to-Monday booking the natural shape.
