How much does a wedding at Finca La Donaira cost?
Finca La Donaira prices a wedding as a stay rather than a hire: the published from-figure of €37,000 covers two nights for 20 guests with their meals and the drinks served at them, on a 700-hectare organic farm and riding estate outside Ronda. The wedding dinner and the open bar sit outside that number. Here is what the package buys, what it leaves out, how the cost reads per guest, and how it compares with the other Andalusian estates that put beds and food into one figure.

A stay with a wedding inside it
Most venue prices in our collection are a hire fee, with the nights listed as a separate line. Finca La Donaira works the other way round. The venue's published starting figure is €37,000, and the note attached to it in the record reads "includes 2 night stay for 20 with food and drink". So the number is a residential package for the house party: two nights, twenty beds, and every meal across those days. The estate sits in 700 hectares of farmland near Ronda and runs as an organic farm and equestrian centre, with the wedding capped at 80 guests for the ceremony and the reception alike.
The record also lists a weekend package and a long-weekend package at separate figures above the from-price. Which one applies depends on the dates and the shape of the stay, so treat €37,000 as the floor and ask the venue which package your own weekend falls into before you build a budget on it. The packages are stated for the 2027 to 2028 season.
What the package pays for
Read the accommodation line and the story line together and the inclusions are specific. The 20 guests staying on site get breakfast, lunch and dinner on each day of the stay, and the drinks served at those meals, alcoholic and otherwise, are inside the price. The whole finca is yours around the clock with nobody else on the farm, and that covers the spring-fed natural pool outdoors, the indoor spa with its lap pool, steam bath, wood-fired sauna and ice plunge, the medicinal gardens and the farmland itself. An on-site planner, in-house catering, a bridal changing room, parking and a supplier list are all listed as features, and both children and pets are welcome.
The food is the other half of the argument for the price. Menus are farm-to-table from the estate's own regenerative farm, and the wines are organic and biodynamic from across Europe. For a couple who care where the food on the table has come from, that is a large part of what the money buys, and the venue is listed in our sustainable collection for the same reason.
What it leaves out
The record is unusually plain here. The wedding dinner itself and the open bar are not included. In other words the package feeds the house party through the stay, but the reception meal for all of your guests and the bar that follows it are quoted on top, and the record gives no per-head figure for either, so those two numbers come from the venue on enquiry. Guests beyond the 20 who sleep on the farm are outside the price as well: their beds in Ronda, their transport up to the estate and anything they eat before the wedding day are extra lines. Flowers, photography, music and a celebrant sit outside too, as they do at every venue we list.
Reading the price per guest
Because the package is built around the people who stay, the simplest way to read it is per bed. Dividing the published figure by the beds it includes gives €1,850 per staying guest for the two nights with all meals and the drinks at them. That is the figure to put beside a good hotel in Ronda for the same two nights plus six meals and a spa, and it is the figure that makes the package look different depending on who you are.
For a wedding of 20, the package is close to the whole venue cost: add the wedding dinner, the bar and the suppliers and you are done. For a wedding of 80, the same €37,000 houses a quarter of the list and the rest arrive for the day, so the reception meal for the full list becomes the line that moves the total most. The record does not support a catering table, so rather than guess at one, use the budget calculator with the package as the venue line and add food, drink and suppliers at your own guest count. The venue takes a minimum of two guests, so a very small wedding with a handful of friends staying is within its range; the small and intimate venues guide sets it beside the other estates that suit a short list.
Nine rooms, twenty beds, two nights
The accommodation is nine individually styled rooms sleeping up to 20, with a minimum stay of two nights, which lines up with the two nights in the price. The rooms are rustic in the record's own word, with the medicinal gardens and open farmland beyond them. There is no overflow accommodation on the farm, so for anything larger than a 20-person house party the venue's hotel recommendation list points to Ronda, and the record confirms local accommodation nearby. Our guide to venues with accommodation explains how the house-party model works in practice.
The days either side of the wedding are where the estate earns its figure. Horse riding is the house activity, as you would expect of an equestrian centre, and the record lists trekking, yoga, cooking classes, wine tasting and the spa alongside it. A couple who want the wedding to be one evening inside a longer stay should read the three-day weekend guide, which compares the Spanish estates built for that shape.
Vows under a 900-year-old oak
The ceremony setting the venue leads with is an oak the record dates at 900 years, with the vows taken in its shade on the farm. The sun-facing terrace is listed for the toasts afterwards, and the medicinal gardens for walking guests between the parts of the day. Ceremony and reception each take from two to 80 people, so nothing about the capacity changes between the oak and the dinner.
The finca is not listed as licensed for marriage, which means the ceremony under the oak is celebrant-led rather than legally binding. For most foreign couples that changes nothing in practice: a non-resident couple generally cannot hold the civil ceremony in Spain anyway, and the usual route is the registry at home with the vows here. Our guide on how to get married in Spain walks through the options.
Flying in and driving up
By straight line the nearest airport is Jerez (XRY), about 67 km away. The record gives no road distances, and the farm is in the hills around Ronda, so allow for a mountain drive from the coast and plan transfers for guests coming up from town rather than expecting taxis at the gate. Parking on the estate is listed among the features.
Beside the other Andalusian packages with beds in
Three other estates in our Andalusia collection publish a price that carries the nights, and two of them carry food and drink as well. They give you the frame for judging whether the finca's figure is high or simply different.

Cortijo Roman near Jimena de la Frontera publishes €25,000 with two nights for 22 with food and drink, takes 180 guests, and sleeps 22 across five guest houses. Hotel Fuente del Sol at Antequera is €22,000 with two nights for 38 with food and drink, sleeps 50 in 19 rooms, and tops out at 90 guests. Casa La Siesta at Vejer de la Frontera is €19,000 with three nights for 22, catering on top at €125 a head, and up to 120 guests. Against those, Finca La Donaira is the dearest package for the fewest beds, and it is also the only one that puts a spa, a working farm and riding into the figure. The Andalusia wedding cost guide reads every priced venue in the region the same way, and venues by budget bands the whole collection.
Who it suits
Finca La Donaira is for a couple whose guest list is small enough that most of it can sleep on the farm, and who want the two days around the wedding to feel like a retreat rather than a hotel stay. At 20 guests the package is nearly the whole bill; at 80 it is a house party for the inner circle with everyone else coming up from Ronda. If you want a large list with beds for most of them, Fuente del Sol or Casa La Siesta put more of the budget into rooms. If food provenance, horses and an outdoor pool fed by a spring are the point, there is nothing else in the region priced like this. The full collection shows each venue's figures side by side, and an enquiry through us costs nothing.
Questions couples ask us
How much does a wedding at Finca La Donaira cost?
The published starting figure is €37,000, and the venue states that it includes a two-night stay for 20 guests with food and drink. The wedding dinner and the open bar are quoted separately, so the full venue cost is the package plus the reception meal and bar for your guest list.
Does the €37,000 include the wedding dinner?
No. The record says the package covers breakfast, lunch and dinner for the house party during the stay, with drinks at those meals, but that the wedding dinner and open bar are not included. Ask the venue for the per-head figure for both when you enquire.
How many guests can stay at Finca La Donaira?
Up to 20, across nine individually styled rooms, with a minimum stay of two nights. The wedding itself can have up to 80 guests, so for a full list most people stay in Ronda and come up for the day.
Can we have a legal ceremony at the finca?
The venue is not listed as licensed for marriage, so the ceremony under the oak is a symbolic one. Most non-resident foreign couples cannot hold the binding civil ceremony in Spain in any case, and do the paperwork at home.
