How much does a wedding at Casa Nova Estate cost?
Casa Nova Estate is a restored Catalan manor in 600 acres of private grounds near Sitges, and it publishes a wedding price of €12,750 that includes three nights of hire and accommodation for a villa sleeping 21. With in-house catering from €110 a head and drinks from €75, the record gives you enough to build a real floor for a wedding of up to 250. This guide does that at three guest counts and compares the estate with four other Catalan houses priced as a three-night stay.

Three nights, 600 acres, one figure
Casa Nova Estate publishes a starting price of €12,750 for a wedding, and the venue's own description of that figure is that it includes three nights of venue hire and accommodation. The accommodation is the main villa, which sleeps 21 in ensuite garden rooms with a master suite that has a private terrace. The hire is the whole estate: 600 acres of private grounds, an infinity pool under palms and pines, an upper terrace with views over the hills, and a grand dining hall with high ceilings and stone walls for the reception when the day moves indoors.
The record also publishes two other ways of hiring the same villa, which help to read the wedding figure. The nightly hire is €4,250 between April and October, and a week is €21,950. Set beside those, the three-night wedding price is roughly three nights of villa at the seasonal rate, which tells you the wedding is not being charged a large premium over the house itself.
Catering from €110, drinks from €75
The estate caters in-house from €110 per person, and publishes a drinks figure of €75 per person alongside it. Both sit on top of the hire. Those two per-head lines, more than the hire, decide the total at Casa Nova, because the venue takes up to 250 for both the ceremony and the reception, from a minimum of two, and the food and the bar scale with every one of them.
The table below adds the published hire to the published catering at three guest counts, then adds the drinks figure for a second total. It includes nothing for flowers, photography, music, transport or the hotels of the guests who do not sleep in the villa, so treat it as a floor for the venue, the food and the bar.
At 80 guests the hire is a large share of the total and the estate is an expensive way to hold a small wedding; at 250 the hire is a modest fraction and the per-guest cost is dominated by the plate and the glass. That curve is common to every Catalan estate that prices the nights in, and it is why Casa Nova is listed in our guide to venues for 100 guests and above rather than among the intimate houses.
The villa, the glamping field and the rest of the list
Twenty-one guests sleep in the villa for the three nights the price covers. The rest of a large list stays in Sitges, 30 km from the airport along the same road, and the venue keeps a hotel recommendation list for that purpose. There is a third option in the record: the estate allows glamping, which for a summer wedding in 600 acres can take a good number of younger guests without a hotel bill. The venue is child friendly and welcomes pets, and the on-site planner is listed as a feature, which for a three-night stay with guests spread across a villa, a field and a town is the person who keeps the weekend together.
The venue's experiences list runs to wine tasting, trekking, yacht charter, cooking classes, yoga, horse riding and spa, which is a programme for the Friday and the Sunday rather than a decoration. If the stay is what you are buying, our guide to three-day wedding weekends in Spain sets Casa Nova beside the other houses built for one.
Poolside or on the upper terrace, and the question of the licence
Two ceremony settings are listed: beside the infinity pool, beneath the pines, and on the upper terrace with its views over the estate to the hills. Casa Nova is licensed for marriage, which among Catalan estates is the exception. The licence attaches to the venue rather than to you, though: most non-resident foreign couples cannot hold the legally binding civil ceremony in Spain and choose a symbolic one at the pool or on the terrace, with the paperwork completed at home. Our guide to getting married in Spain explains who qualifies for the civil route. Whichever you choose, the party afterwards has no music curfew and no curfew at all.
Thirty kilometres from the airport
The nearest airport by straight line is Barcelona (BCN), about 28 km off. The venue's own figure is 30 km from Barcelona Airport, with Sitges the nearest town. For a 250-guest wedding that is the right kind of geography: one major airport with flights from everywhere, one road, a seaside town with hotels and restaurants for the overflow, and an estate with full exclusivity at the end of it. Car parking is on site and disabled access is noted.
Four other Catalan estates priced as a three-night stay
The fairest comparisons are the Barcelona-region houses whose published price also carries three nights. The four below bracket Casa Nova on price and show how the region trades beds, capacity and included food against each other.
Sant Pere de Ribes · Barcelona
Masia Victoriaup to 70 guests · sleeps 28 · 3-night minimum · from €14,550 · catering €110 a head
Sitges · Barcelona
Villa Almanitaup to 150 guests · sleeps 52 · 3-night minimum · from €18,000 · catering €160 a head
Llorenç del Penedès · Barcelona
Finca La Concertistaup to 250 guests · sleeps 20 · 3-night minimum · from €25,300
Mas Torroella on the Costa Brava is €14,500 with three nights for 30 and takes 200, with the food quoted rather than printed. Masia Victoria at Sant Pere de Ribes is €14,550 with three nights, sleeps 28 and publishes the same €110 catering and €75 drinks figures as Casa Nova, but tops out at 70 guests, so it is the small-wedding version of the same idea. Villa Almanita in Sitges is €18,000 with three nights for 52 and catering from €160, taking 150. Finca La Concertista is €25,300 with three nights for 20 and the food and drink inside the price, taking 250. Casa Nova's edge is capacity for the money: 250 guests, a licence and no curfew at the lowest hire of the five.
The Barcelona wedding cost guide reads every priced venue in the region together, venues by budget bands the whole collection, and the budget calculator adds suppliers and transport to a floor like the one in the table.
Is Casa Nova the right estate for you?
Choose it if your list is long, your party is late and your closest 21 want three nights in a villa with an infinity pool. The price works hardest at 150 guests and above, where the hire disappears into the per-head lines and the licence, the curfew and the 600 acres are what you are paying for. Choose something else if your list is nearer 60, in which case Masia Victoria spends the same money on a house built for 70, or if you want a day hire with no stay attached. The full collection shows every venue's figures together, and an enquiry through us costs nothing.
