Wedding venues in Spain for 100 to 300 guests
Plenty of couples arrive with a list of 120, 150, sometimes 300 names. Spain handles scale better than most of Europe, but the rules change above 100 guests and the venues that do it well are a specific, findable group. 38 of the 54 venues we list take 150 or more. This guide maps them.

How rare is a genuinely large venue in Spain?
Less rare than the wedding blogs suggest. Of the 54 venues we list with a stated capacity, 48 take 100 or more. Push to 150 and the field is still 38 venues. At 200 you are choosing from 27, and at 300 or more from 13. So a 100-guest wedding is not a large wedding in Spain; most of the market can take you. It is somewhere between 200 and 300 guests that the search genuinely tightens.
Two more numbers before you shortlist. Of the 38 venues that take 150 or more, 20 sleep 20 guests or more on site, which matters enormously once your guest list outgrows the local taxi supply. And by region: Barcelona has 19, Andalusia has 4, Ibiza has 7, Mallorca has 6. Catalonia's masías and castles were built for harvests and whole villages, and it shows.
300 guests and beyond
At this scale you are staging a production and should staff it like one. The venues below state 300 or more; check the indoor capacity separately, because the wet-weather room is usually smaller than the headline.

The logistics that decide everything at 150 and above
Beds first, always. A 60-guest wedding can improvise accommodation; a 180-guest wedding cannot. Before falling for any venue, map the realistic bed count within 20 minutes: on-site rooms, then the nearest town's hotels. The accommodation guide lists every venue by how many it sleeps.
Curfews and sound. Rural estates are generous, but many venues near villages carry municipal limits, and a 200-person wedding wants to dance past them. Ask for the licence hours in writing. 17 of the large venues here state no curfew on record.
The wet-weather room. At 60 guests a rain plan is rearranging furniture. At 200 it is an architectural requirement: a real indoor space that seats your full number for dinner. Check the indoor figure separately from the headline capacity; they are often very different numbers.
Heat. This is the Spanish-specific one. A July ceremony at 5pm in inland Andalusia is 38°C in the shade. Large weddings in summer go late, go coastal, or go to the hills; the Andalusia page says when the season there really runs.
One kitchen or two? Above 150 covers, catering is an industrial operation. Ask how many weddings of your size the venue ran last season; the answer tells you almost everything.
Questions couples ask us
How many wedding venues in Spain take 150 guests?
38 of the 54 venues we list with a stated capacity take 150 or more, 27 take 200 or more and 13 take 300 or more. At 100 guests the field is 48 venues, 89% of the collection, so a hundred is not a large wedding in Spain at all.
What does a wedding venue in Spain for 150 guests cost?
Among the 38 venues that take 150 or more and publish a from-price, the figures run from €3,000 to €74,000 with a median of €10,500. Scale does not automatically mean a premium venue fee; what moves the number is whether the price includes nights, beds, food and drink.
Can a large wedding party stay at the venue?
20 of the 38 venues that take 150 or more sleep 20 guests or more on site. The rest sleep a smaller core or none, and the guest list stays in the nearest town; the venue page says what accommodation is nearby.
Is there a music curfew at large Spanish venues?
17 of the 38 large venues state no curfew or no music curfew on record. Rural Spain is generous with late parties, but municipal rules vary, so ask the venue for its licence hours in writing before you book the band.
