How much does a wedding at Seahorse Beach Club cost?
Seahorse Beach Club starts at €7,000 for 40 people, and that figure already carries a garden ceremony, a banquet, a two-hour open bar and an evening buffet. Past 40 the venue's published rates take over: catering from €105 a head and drinks packages from €39. This guide works those rates through at three guest counts, explains what a hotel of 774 beds next door does to the logistics, and sets the club beside the other Ibiza venues that price by head count.

€7,000 for 40: what the package is
Seahorse Beach Club sits on the Playa d'en Bossa shoreline, with Formentera and Dalt Vila in view, and it publishes the lowest from-price of any venue in our Ibiza collection that includes a meal. The figure is €7,000, and the record is clear that it is based on 40 people. Inside it are four things: a garden wedding ceremony, a silver banquet served in the Seahorse Restaurant with its views over the water, a two-hour open bar, and an evening buffet. That is a complete small wedding, from vows to late food, for the price that some Ibiza venues ask for the gate alone.
The record also lists the practical extras: in-house catering, a licensed bar, a sound system, a bridal changing room, a pool, disabled access and a child-friendly setting. What the package does not include is anything beyond the two-hour bar, the suppliers you bring yourself, and the rooms for your guests, which are booked next door rather than bundled into the figure.
Per-head rates once the list grows past 40
Most couples looking at a beach club that holds 250 are not planning for 40, and this is where the second set of published figures matters. Seahorse quotes catering from €105 per person and drinks packages from €39, and those are the rates that govern a wedding above the package size. The record does not state how the €7,000 converts for a list of 100 or 200, so we do not add the two together. What we can do is show what the per-head lines alone come to at the guest counts a venue this size attracts, so you can see the scale of the food and drink before you ask the club for its figure.
These are the food and the drinks packages at the published starting rates and nothing more: no ceremony fee, no privatisation, no suppliers, no rooms. They scale in a straight line, which is the defining feature of a venue priced this way. There is no fixed hire to spread across a bigger list, so the cost per guest barely moves between 80 and 250, and a wedding here grows in proportion to the number of chairs. The budget calculator adds the supplier lines on top of per-head figures like these.
A hotel of 774 beds next door
The club's record lists sleeps up to 774, and the beds belong to the Vibra Algarb hotel beside it. That is by a distance the largest number in our Ibiza collection, and it changes the shape of the wedding more than any other line. Every guest can sleep within a short walk of the dancefloor, there is no transfer to organise at the end of the night, and the couple's room comes with the package. Guests book their own rooms rather than the couple blocking them, so the accommodation is a cost your guests carry, not one that appears on your invoice. For a list of 200 or 250, that is the difference between a venue you can use and one you cannot. Our guide to venues with accommodation covers the rest of Spain's hotels and houses with beds on site.
Garden or sea-view ceremony
Two ceremony settings are listed. The garden ceremony is the one the starting package includes, held in the club's gardens. The sea-view ceremony puts early-afternoon vows facing the water with Formentera on the horizon. The ceremony capacity runs from two to 150, while the reception runs to 250, so a very large wedding seats the ceremony for part of the list and brings everyone together afterwards. The record does not list a marriage licence, which for most couples flying in makes no practical difference: non-resident foreign couples generally cannot hold the binding civil ceremony in Spain in any case and marry legally at home before a symbolic ceremony by the sea. Our guide to getting married in Spain sets out the options.
Eight kilometres from the airport
The record puts Seahorse 8km from Ibiza Airport, code IBZ, and the beach club sits on the Playa d'en Bossa strip, which is the busiest stretch of coast on the island's south side. By straight line, Ibiza (IBZ) is about 4 km away. For guests arriving over a weekend that means a short taxi from the terminal to the hotel door, and for the couple it means the whole wedding, from airport to beach to bed, happens within a few kilometres. The venue keeps a hotel recommendation list for anyone who prefers to stay elsewhere, and the beach itself fills the day before and the day after.
Other Ibiza venues that price by head count
Seahorse is one of a cluster of Ibiza venues whose figures are anchored to a number of people rather than to a hire. The four below are the closest in structure, and the guest count each one is priced for is the first thing to line up.
Sant Miquel de Balansat · Ibiza
Ca Na Xicaup to 240 guests · sleeps 60 · from €21,720 · catering €135 a head
Vibra Yamm Sunset, on San Antonio Bay, is the closest relative: €10,000 for 40 guests covering the ceremony, the banquet and a two-hour open bar, with a reception ceiling of 120, a ceremony limit of 40 and rooms for 226. It costs more at the same head count but does not publish per-head rates for growth. ME Ibiza prices an example package at €17,250 for 50 guests with a ceremony, its rooftop, a two-hour open bar and a full meal; it takes 100 and sleeps 400. Finca Païssa d’en Bernat publishes a full ladder from €15,800 for 30 guests to €39,000 for 100, with a full-day open bar inside, but has no beds. Ca Na Xica is the other Ibiza venue with published per-head rates, catering from €135 and drinks from €42 on top of a €21,720 hire that includes all its suites for three nights; it sleeps 60 and takes 240. Seahorse's €105 and €39 are the lowest per-head figures published on the island.
The Ibiza wedding cost guide reads all of these against each other, beach wedding venues in Spain covers the coast beyond Ibiza, and venues by budget places every venue in a price band.
The couple it suits
Seahorse Beach Club is for a couple who want a big seafront wedding with the simplest logistics on the island: a package to start from, published rates to grow it with, a hotel for 774 next door and the airport 8km away. It suits a list of 150 or 250 that would overwhelm a finca, and a budget that prefers a predictable per-head figure to a large fixed hire. It is a less natural fit for a couple who want a private house to themselves or a party that runs past the club's hours, and the beach strip location is a feature or a drawback depending on taste. For the same package structure in a quieter bay, read Vibra Yamm Sunset next; for a private hillside with the bar included, Païssa d’en Bernat. The full collection shows every Ibiza venue's figures side by side, and an enquiry through us costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
