How much does a wedding at Can Frare Ibiza cost?
Can Frare is a restored farmhouse on the hillside above San Antonio Bay, and its published from-price of €10,000 covers the house, the grounds and beds for 12 over a four-night minimum stay. Caterers from the venue's list start at €100 a head, there is no corkage charge, and the guest list is capped at 75. This guide takes those figures from the record, works the hire and the food through at three guest counts, and sets the finca beside the other Ibiza houses that sleep the inner circle for several nights.

A hire that carries four nights
Can Frare Ibiza is an 18th-century farmhouse above San Antonio, restored with its stone walls and wooden beams intact and a pool set into the private grounds. Its published starting price is €10,000, and two lines in the record tell you what that figure is. Accommodation is included, and the minimum stay is four nights. So the hire is not a day rate for the garden: it is the villa and its grounds for a long weekend, with the wedding somewhere inside it and 12 people sleeping in the house throughout.
The venue states full exclusivity, which on a four-night booking means nobody else on the hillside for the duration. An on-site planner runs the day, the record lists a supplier list, a bridal changing room, parking and a sound system, and pets are welcome, which is rarer than it should be. There is also a helipad, which says something about the guests the house has hosted, though for most lists the airport transfer is by road.
Food from €100 a head, and no corkage
Can Frare does not cook in-house. It keeps a list of recommended caterers, and the record puts their starting price at €100 per person. Drinks are listed at €100 a head as well, though with no corkage charge the drinks line is the one you can most easily bring down, by shipping or buying your own wine and paying the caterer only to serve it. Over four nights of welcome drinks, a wedding bar and a recovery lunch, that freedom matters more than it does at a one-day venue.
The usual shape is cocktails on the terrace looking over San Antonio Bay, then dinner outdoors under lights strung through the trees. Because the catering is external, the menu is whatever the team you choose can do, and the venue's partners on the island cover the chefs, the florists, the DJs and the musicians.
Worked at 30, 50 and 75 guests
The record gives a minimum of 30 guests and a maximum of 75, so the three rows below sit at the floor, the middle and the ceiling of what the house takes. Each adds the published hire to the published per-head catering and nothing else: no drinks, no suppliers, no transport, and no beds beyond the 12 in the villa.
Even at the full 75 the hire is the larger line, which is the opposite of how a big estate behaves. That is the mark of a venue priced for a small wedding: the house costs what it costs, the food scales gently, and the per-guest figure stays sensible at 30 guests in a way it would not at a venue with a 250-seat marquee. The budget calculator adds the drinks and the supplier lines to figures like these at your own count.
Who sleeps in the villa
Twelve people, for a minimum of four nights, with their stay already in the price. For a 75-guest wedding that is the couple, parents and a few of the wedding party, with the rest of the list in San Antonio or the villas around the bay, a short drive down the hill. For a wedding of 30 it is a larger share of the whole party, and the four nights become the celebration rather than a base for one evening. The record lists trekking, yoga and yacht charter among the things to fill the days either side, and the pool in the grounds does the rest.
Guests who are not sleeping on site need somewhere to go at the end of the night. The house is child friendly and the planner can advise on nearby options, but the record does not list a hotel recommendation list, so ask before you fix the date. The venues with accommodation guide explains how other Spanish houses handle the overflow.
The ceremony among the olives
One ceremony setting is listed: a sunlit spot in the grounds among olive trees and wildflowers, for anywhere between 30 and 75 guests. The record does not say the house is licensed for marriage, so the ceremony here is a symbolic one with the legal formalities completed at home, which is how most non-resident couples marry in Spain whether the venue holds a licence or not. The how to get married in Spain guide explains the paperwork and the timing.
Getting to the hillside
Ibiza has one airport and every guest will fly into it. The venue sits above San Antonio Bay on the west side of the island, and the record gives no distance, so take the transfer time from the venue when you enquire. San Antonio itself is the nearest town for hotels, restaurants and a taxi rank, and parking at the house is included for anyone hiring a car. For the handful who prefer to arrive from above, the helipad is there.
Other Ibiza houses with beds in the hire
Can Frare is the lowest-priced Ibiza house we hold that bundles accommodation into its from-price. The four below also sleep the inner circle for a stay, and the list runs from the most expensive down.
Sant Miquel de Balansat · Ibiza
Ca Na Xicaup to 240 guests · sleeps 60 · 3-night minimum · from €21,720 · catering €135 a head
Pure House Ibiza publishes €35,000 for 50 guests with a four-night stay for ten and the food and drink inside the figure, and it takes up to 150. Las Cicadas is €27,000 with accommodation for 12 over three nights, the same bed count as Can Frare, and takes 150. Ca Na Xica is a 23-room hotel at €21,720 for all its suites over three nights, sleeping 60, with catering at €135 a head. Can Gall Ibiza is €8,949 with beds for 32 over three nights and takes 250, so it is cheaper than Can Frare on the hire but a very different scale of wedding. What Can Frare offers that none of them does is a 75-guest ceiling with four nights in the house for the same figure that buys a single day at many island venues.
The Ibiza wedding cost guide reads every priced venue on the island by the same method, venues by budget sorts the whole collection into bands, and the three-day weekend guide covers the houses built for a stay rather than a day.
Who Can Frare is for
Choose Can Frare if your list is between 30 and 75, you want your closest people in the house with you for four nights, and you would rather bring your own caterer and your own wine than take a package. It is not a venue for a large wedding or a quick one: the four-night minimum and the 75-guest cap are fixed. Couples who want the same scale with a kitchen on site should look at Las Cicadas; those who want 100 or more should read the 100-guest venues guide. The full collection puts every venue's figures side by side, and an enquiry through us commits you to nothing.
Questions couples ask us
How much does a wedding at Can Frare cost?
Hire starts at €10,000 for the 2027 to 2028 season, with accommodation included and a four-night minimum stay. Caterers from the venue's recommended list start at €100 a head, and the record lists drinks at €100 a head too, so the hire is the beginning of the budget rather than the whole of it.
How many people sleep at Can Frare?
Twelve, in the villa itself, and their stay is inside the hire. The minimum stay is four nights, so the house is yours for a long weekend rather than a day.
What is the guest limit?
Between 30 and 75 for both the ceremony and the reception. The venue is built for a smaller wedding where the closest family and friends stay on site and the rest come in for the day.
Is there a corkage charge?
No. The record states no corkage charge, which means you can bring your own wine and spirits and pay only for the service, a meaningful saving on a four-night stay.
