How much does a wedding at Petunia Ibiza cost?
Petunia Ibiza publishes the highest from-price in our Ibiza collection, €74,000, and the figure is best understood as a two-night takeover of a hotel that sleeps 88, with breakfast and a food and drink minimum folded in. This guide sets out what that number carries, where the 60-guest exclusivity line falls, and how the hotel reads against the island's other packages that bundle a stay or the catering into the price.

Reading a €74,000 figure
Petunia Ibiza, a Beaumier Hotel, is a boutique hotel on the Ibiza coast looking directly out at Es Vedrà, and its published from-price for the 2027 to 2028 season is €74,000. That is a large number by the standards of a Spanish venue page, and it is easy to misread. The record's own note explains it: the price includes a two-night stay with food and drink, and more precisely covers venue hire for two nights, breakfast, and a minimum spend on food and beverage. In other words it is not a fee for a room and a terrace. It is the hotel, taken over, for a weekend, with the kitchen and bar commitment inside it.
Compare that with a hire-only finca whose figure buys a gate key and nothing else, and the gap narrows quickly once the finca's catering, bar and two nights of hotel rooms for the guests are added back. The structures are different, and the only honest way to compare them is to build both up to the same wedding. The budget calculator is built for that, and the Ibiza wedding cost guide walks through the island's pricing models side by side.
Two nights, breakfast and a minimum spend
The three elements named in the record each deserve a line. The two nights are the minimum stay, and they mean the celebration naturally takes the shape of an arrival evening, the wedding day and a lazy morning after, with guests sleeping where the party is. Breakfast is included for those nights. The minimum spend on food and drink is the part that needs the most care at the enquiry stage: the published figure sets a floor on what you commit to the hotel's kitchen and bar, and the actual wedding menus, the drinks package and any extra events over the two days are then built within or above that floor. An in-house chef builds the menus, and the hotel lists a licensed bar, a pool, a sound system and a bridal changing room among its facilities.
What the figure does not state is a per-head catering rate, which is why there is no worked table on this page. Nor does it include the outside suppliers a wedding brings: photography, flowers, music and transfers. Pets are welcome and the hotel has disabled access, which is worth noting for a two-night stay where guests of every age are on site.
The 60-guest line
Petunia offers full exclusivity for wedding parties over 60 guests, up to a maximum of 150 for both the ceremony and the reception. That threshold is the key to the price. Above it, the whole hotel and all of its spaces are yours, with no other residents at breakfast or by the pool. Below it, the terms change and you should ask how the hotel is shared. For a couple with a list of 80 or 100, the arithmetic is straightforward: the hotel is closed to everyone else, the rooms are filled by your guests, and the €74,000 is the base on which the weekend is built. For a list of 40, Petunia is still a venue, but the exclusive-use logic that justifies the figure no longer applies in the same way, and a smaller hotel or a private house may suit better.
Eighty-eight beds and who fills them
The hotel sleeps up to 88, which for most weddings is the entire list and for a 150-guest wedding is the majority of it. That changes the planning in a way the price alone does not show. There is no hotel block to negotiate elsewhere, no transfers at the end of the night, and the morning after happens in one place. The venue describes several spaces used in turn across the day, all facing the sea, so the ceremony, the drinks, the dinner and the dancing move around the property rather than across the island. For guests beyond the 88, the record notes local accommodation nearby and a hotel recommendation list. Our guide to hotel takeover venues in Spain looks at how couples run a weekend of this kind, and the venues with accommodation guide lists the houses and hotels that sleep guests on site across the country.
The ceremony and the paperwork
The record lists no named ceremony settings and no marriage licence. The ceremony capacity runs from two guests to 150, matching the reception, and the spaces are described as all facing the sea with Es Vedrà on the horizon, so the setting is chosen on the day's plan rather than from a fixed menu of sites. On the legal side, the absence of a licence changes very little for a couple arriving from abroad: most non-resident foreign couples cannot hold the binding civil ceremony in Spain in any case, and complete the formalities at home before a symbolic ceremony on the island. Our guide to getting married in Spain covers the routes and the documents.
Twenty kilometres from the airport
The record places Petunia 20km from Ibiza Airport, in the countryside on the coast. By straight line the nearest airport is Ibiza (IBZ), about 14 km away. For a hotel takeover that is the only transfer most guests make: airport to hotel on arrival, hotel to airport on departure, with the wedding in between. Car parking is on site. The experiences listed, trekking, yacht charter, yoga, bikes and a spa, are the venue's suggestions for the hours that a two-night stay leaves free, and a yacht charter from a hotel facing Es Vedrà is the obvious one.
Four Ibiza venues to read it against
No other venue in our Ibiza collection prices quite like Petunia, but four of them put a stay or the catering inside the published figure and so make the fairest comparisons.
Sant Miquel de Balansat · Ibiza
Ca Na Xicaup to 240 guests · sleeps 60 · 3-night minimum · from €21,720 · catering €135 a head
Pure House Ibiza publishes €35,000 for 50 guests, including a four-night stay for ten with food and drink; it sleeps 12 and takes 150, so it is the private-house version of the same idea with a much smaller inner circle on site. Ca Na Xica, a villa turned boutique hotel, publishes €21,720, sleeps 60 and requires all of its suites for three nights, with catering from €135 a head and drinks packages from €42 on top; it takes 240 for the reception. ME Ibiza prices an example package at €17,250 for 50 guests with a ceremony, the rooftop, a two-hour open bar and a full meal, sleeps 400 and takes 100, but the rooms are not part of the package. Vibra Yamm Sunset starts at €10,000 for 40 guests with the ceremony, the banquet and a two-hour open bar, and sleeps 226 on San Antonio Bay. Build any of the four up to two nights for 88 people with breakfast and a wedding menu and the distance to Petunia's figure shrinks; what remains is the Es Vedrà view and the exclusive use of a hotel designed around it.
Venues by budget places every venue in the collection in a price band, and the three-day weekend guide covers the venues built for a stay rather than a day.
Is Petunia the right fit?
Choose Petunia Ibiza if your list is above 60 and below 150, if you want the whole party under one roof for two nights, and if you would rather commit to one figure that carries the hotel, the breakfasts and the food and drink floor than assemble a wedding from a hire fee and a dozen quotes. It is not the venue for a small wedding, where the exclusivity line is not crossed, nor for a couple who want to bring their own caterer. If the beds matter but the list is smaller, Ca Na Xica puts 60 on site at a lower figure; if the private-house feel matters more than the room count, Pure House is the closer match. The full collection sets every Ibiza venue's figures side by side, and enquiring through us costs nothing.
Questions couples ask us
Why does Petunia Ibiza cost €74,000?
Because the figure is a two-night takeover of a whole hotel, not a hire fee. The record says it includes venue hire for two nights, breakfast, and a minimum spend on food and drink, so most of the wedding weekend is already inside it.
How many guests can stay?
The hotel sleeps up to 88 over a minimum two-night stay. Weddings can run to 150 guests, so above 88 the remainder stay nearby; the venue keeps a hotel recommendation list and notes local accommodation close by.
Do we get the hotel to ourselves?
Full exclusivity applies to wedding parties over 60 guests, and the venue takes up to 150. A smaller wedding shares the hotel with other residents, so ask what the terms are below that line.
How far is it from the airport?
The record puts Petunia 20km from Ibiza Airport, on the coast facing Es Vedrà. A spa, yoga, yacht charters, trekking and bikes are listed for the days around the wedding.
